THUNDER BAY — Each red bulb lit up on a tree outside city police headquarters represents one of thousands of Indigenous people who are missing or have been murdered in Canada. “Nobody forgets these women. These women were moms and friends, family, aunts, nieces (and) just really loved ones,” said Darcy Fleury, Thunder Bay Police Service chief, at the seventh annual Tree of Hope lighting ceremony on Sunday evening.
