The Portage Friendship Centre marked its annual Sisters in Spirit walk on Friday, drawing attention to missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, men, and members of the LGBTQ community. “This one has been happening since 2004 across Canada, and we picked it up back in 2010,” Parker notes. “And we’ve been doing this almost every year.”
