Winnipeg’s taxi industry is taking a step towards reconciliation, with a new initiative which will be officially launched on National Indigenous Peoples Day, cracking down on inappropriate behaviour towards Indigenous people riding in taxi cabs. The initiative was spearheaded by Eric Robinson, former Minister of Northern Affairs for the NDP government.
